4.9. Route Briefing

`Route Briefing` is used to request and review briefing information for the selected stage.

Request a Briefing

1. Open a plan.
2. Select the correct `Stage`.
3. Open `Route Briefing`.
4. Press `Request`.
5. Wait for the briefing to load.
   

View Modes

• Use `Structured` when available for grouped briefing sections.
• Use `Plain` for the plain text briefing.
• Use `Highlight` to highlight important briefing text.
• Use `Plain Text` to turn highlighting off.
  

Route Filtering

• Use `Filtered` to show route-related items only.
• Use `All Items` to show all briefing items.
• Use `Route Buffer` to adjust the route filter distance.
  

Charts and Navigation

• Use `Charts` to jump to charts when charts are available.
• Use `Top` to return to the top of the briefing.
• Use map actions where available to open briefing items on the map.
  

!Re-request the briefing after route, ETD, stage, or aircraft changes that could affect the briefing.
