Use `Aircraft` to manage the aircraft available for planning, loading, filing, and syncing to AvPlan devices.

Terminology

  • `Aircraft` means an individual aircraft, usually identified by callsign or registration.
  • `Type` means the ICAO/type data used by one or more aircraft, such as ICAO code, performance, units, weights, fuel, and W&B setup.
  • A single `Type` can contain multiple `Aircraft`.

Quick Start

  1. Open `Aircraft`, or go to /types.
  2. Press `New` to add an aircraft, or select an existing aircraft from the list.
  3. Search by callsign or browse aircraft models.
  4. Select the correct `Type`.
  5. Complete required fields for planning, loading, and fuel calculations.
  6. Review the individual `Aircraft` details such as callsign, registration, home base, reserves, avionics, PBN, and defaults.
  7. Press `Save`.
  8. Check the aircraft appears in Planning and on your AvPlan devices.
