6.5. Flight Planning Panel

The `Flight Planning` panel lets you work with planning while keeping the map visible.

Open or Hide the Panel

1. Open `En Route`.
2. Press the `Flight Planning` button on the left-side dock.
3. Select or open a plan if required.
4. Press the button again, or close the panel, to hide it.
   

Use Planning on the Map

• View the selected plan route over the map.
• Fit the plan route inside the map view.
• Select route items or nearby map features to review details.
• Add supported map items to the active plan.
• Edit leg details where the selected waypoint and plan state allow it.
  

Multi-stage Plans

• Confirm the active stage before editing route details from En Route.
• Other stages may appear with different styling from the selected stage.
• Recheck the Planning screen before filing, syncing, or printing.
  

!Map edits affect the selected plan and stage. Confirm the active plan and stage before adding, editing, or removing route items.
