5.6. Weight & Balance

Weight & Balance data is used for aircraft loading, fuel, and CG checks in Planning.

Enable W&B

1. Open the aircraft Type.
2. In setup, enable `Weight & Balance`, or edit the Type later.
3. Complete the W&B envelope and loading information.
4. Press `Save`.
   

W&B Envelope

• Use `WNB Envelope` to define the envelope points.
• Press `Add Point` to add envelope points.
• Review the chart to confirm the envelope shape.
  

Loading Stations

• Use `Loading Stations` to define crew, passenger, baggage, and other load stations.
• Use `Add Station` to add a load station.
• Use loading profiles when the aircraft has different approved loading setups.
  

Fuel Tanks

• Use `Fuel Tanks` to define tank names, usable capacity, and arm data.
• Use `Add Tank` to add a fuel tank.
• Use `Add Level` when a tank arm changes at different fuel levels.
  

Aircraft Empty Weight

• Each individual aircraft can have its own `Basic Empty Weight`, `Empty Arm`, and `Empty Lateral Arm`.
• Use `Default Loads` or `Add Default Loads` to set default loading values.
