6.4. Map Interaction

Use the map to inspect places, weather, traffic, airspace, and planning items.

Select Map Items

• Click or tap map features to open details for airports, waypoints, weather cameras, GAF areas, SIGMETs, METARs, PRD areas, NOTAMs, traffic, or plan legs.
• When multiple items are near the selected point, use the available tabs or list entries to choose the item you want.
• Use the add button on supported entries to add a waypoint to the active plan.
  

Context Menu

• Right-click or long-press the map to open the map context menu.
• Review elevation, coordinates, first light, last light, and timezone information.
• Use available actions such as adding a waypoint, editing leg details, opening an item, or removing a waypoint from a plan.
  

Planning Items on the Map

• Plan legs can show hover details such as track, heading, speed, wind, fuel, distance, ETA, and ETI.
• Waypoints and legs may be selectable when a plan is open.
• Some planning actions are available only when a plan and editable stage are active.
  

*If the item you want is hidden behind another item, zoom in or use the nearest items list in the context menu.
