5.5. Aircraft Details

Aircraft details apply to an individual aircraft under a Type.

Add Another Aircraft Under a Type

1. Open the Type.
2. Press `New Aircraft`.
3. Enter the aircraft callsign and registration.
4. Complete any required defaults.
5. Press `Save`.
   

Basic Aircraft Details

• `Callsign` is the aircraft callsign used in planning and filing.
• `Registration` is the aircraft registration.
• `Colour`, `Home Base`, `Hourly Rate`, and `Wet/ Dry?` are individual aircraft details.
• `ICAO Transponder Address` stores the aircraft transponder address.
  

Fuel Reserves

• `VFR Final Reserve` and `VFR Contingency Fuel` set VFR defaults.
• `IFR Final Reserve` and `IFR Contingency Fuel` set IFR defaults.
• `Min Contingency Fuel` sets the minimum contingency fuel value.
  

Aircraft Defaults

• `POB` sets the default people aboard.
• `Default Taxi Fuel` sets the default taxi fuel.
• `Survival Equip`, `Dinghies Carried`, `Flight Status`, and `Default Remarks` can be used when filing.
  

Copy or Delete

• Use `Copy` to duplicate an existing aircraft under the Type.
• Use `Delete` to remove an aircraft from the Type.
  

*Use multiple aircraft under one Type when the aircraft share the same ICAO/type data but have different callsigns, registrations, empty weights, equipment, or filing defaults.
