4.5. Optimise Altitudes

`Optimise Altitudes` compares suggested altitudes for the selected stage.

Review Altitude Options

1. Open a plan.
2. Select the correct `Stage`.
3. Open `Optimise Altitudes`.
4. Press `Refresh` if the options need updating.
5. Review the rows for `Alt`, `Temp`, `Time (mins)`, `Fuel`, `Cost ($)`, and `Wind`.
   

Tolerance

• Use `Tolerance` to highlight values that are near the best result.
• Best values are marked for lowest fuel burn, fastest time, and lowest fuel cost.
  

Apply an Altitude

1. Select the altitude row you want to use.
2. Confirm the altitude updates the planning stage.
3. Recheck the stage details after applying the altitude.
