Performance data is used by Planning for route times, fuel, altitude optimisation, and loading calculations.
Basic Performance
- `Cruise TAS` is the default cruise true airspeed.
- `Climbing IAS` is the climb indicated airspeed.
- `Climb Fuel Flow`, `Cruise Fuel Flow`, `Holding Fuel Flow`, and `Final Reserve Fuel Flow` set fuel burn defaults.
- `Rate of Climb` and `Rate of Descent` set vertical performance defaults.
- `Usable Fuel` sets the usable fuel value.
- `Service Ceiling`, `Glide Ratio`, `Glide IAS`, and `Minimum Runway Length` set planning defaults.
Advanced Performance
- Enable `Advanced Performance` when the aircraft needs multiple performance profiles.
- Use `Perf Profiles` for different settings such as running-in, economy, 65% power, or 75% power.
- Use `Add Row` to add performance rows.
- Review climb, cruise, descent, fuel flow, and TAS values before saving.
Critical Point Fields
- CP fields can be used for reduced TAS, fuel flow, and altitude values for CP calculations.
