Performance data is used by Planning for route times, fuel, altitude optimisation, and loading calculations.

Basic Performance

  • `Cruise TAS` is the default cruise true airspeed.
  • `Climbing IAS` is the climb indicated airspeed.
  • `Climb Fuel Flow`, `Cruise Fuel Flow`, `Holding Fuel Flow`, and `Final Reserve Fuel Flow` set fuel burn defaults.
  • `Rate of Climb` and `Rate of Descent` set vertical performance defaults.
  • `Usable Fuel` sets the usable fuel value.
  • `Service Ceiling`, `Glide Ratio`, `Glide IAS`, and `Minimum Runway Length` set planning defaults.

Advanced Performance

  • Enable `Advanced Performance` when the aircraft needs multiple performance profiles.
  • Use `Perf Profiles` for different settings such as running-in, economy, 65% power, or 75% power.
  • Use `Add Row` to add performance rows.
  • Review climb, cruise, descent, fuel flow, and TAS values before saving.

Critical Point Fields

  • CP fields can be used for reduced TAS, fuel flow, and altitude values for CP calculations.
