No WnB arms displaying?

If your weight and balance arms are not displaying in the envelope (but the weight calculations look correct) the problem could be the empty weight and arm of the aircraft.

To edit this setting, tap the aircraft button under the flight plan and then the blue arrow on the aircraft call sign. About two thirds the way down the list of options is the empty weight and empty datum. Edit these to reflect what is in the weight sheet for your particular aircraft.

  • Reboot your iPad (turn it off and turn it on)
  • Kill the running AvPlan process and relaunch (double tap the home button to display the running apps, and then kill AvPlan here)
Once you restart AvPlan it will be live with the new NAIPS interface.

PRD Display

The new PRD display on the planning pane displays the various restricted and danger areas that you are going to fly through or near. It colour codes the status as follows;

  • Green – reactive
  • Orange – deactive and active at various times
  • Red – active at all times
Tapping on a row will display any applicable NOTAM’s for the area.
