Frequently asked questions

Do I need an AvPlan mobile subscription?

No. AvPlan Web Standard and Pro are browser-only subscriptions. They do not unlock AvPlan on iOS or Android.

Can I use the plan in OzRunways?

Yes. AvPlan Web can export your plan as an OzRunways-compatible email attachment. Open the attachment on your iPad or iPhone to transfer the plan into OzRunways.

Does AvPlan Web include flight-plan filing and SARTIME?

Yes. Both Standard and Pro support flight-plan submission, amendment and cancellation, together with SARTIME submission and amendment.

Which plan should I choose?

Web Standard covers everyday route planning, weather, briefings, filing and aircraft calculations. Choose Web Pro if you need IFR routing, instrument procedures, advanced weather or more sophisticated aircraft performance tools.

Can I use AvPlan Web for in-flight navigation?

No. AvPlan Web is designed for planning, briefing and filing. It does not include moving-map navigation, offline data, traffic, external-sensor support or other cockpit EFB functions.

OzRunways is a third-party product and is not included with AvPlan Web. An appropriate OzRunways subscription may be required. Always review an imported plan before operational use.
